The Economic Science Institute (ESI) at Chapman University invites applications for a two-year Postdoctoral Fellow position beginning in August 2021.

We prefer a recent PhD who has a substantial research interest in game theory or experimental economics, with emphasis on the theory of contests and its applications. Candidates should have received their PhD prior to beginning the position. The Postdoctoral Fellow will have no teaching or administrative duties. We seek candidates with the ability to generate and publish research of the highest quality.

The “statement of interest” should address how the candidate’s research interests mesh with the focus on game theoretic or experimental work in the theory of contests.
