Applications are invited for a 1 year visiting position, with the possibility for renewal, in the Economics Department at the University of the Pacific beginning in Fall 2021. The position will entail teaching seven courses. Courses to be covered include introductory micro and macro, a survey class for non-majors, some upper division courses based on the candidate’s areas of interest and the needs of the department, and possibly a section of the university’s freshman seminar (CORE 1). Ideally the candidate would be able to teach History of Economic Thought, but all applicants with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate education are encouraged to apply.
