Clinical Faculty Position
Department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management

The McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a clinical faculty position in the Department of Information, Risk, and Operations Management starting in Fall 2021. A clinical faculty position is not a tenure track appointment. The expectation for a clinical faculty position is one that includes a mix of teaching and research responsibilities. We seek candidates with a strong background in decision analytics motivated by challenges in business. The candidate should be able to contribute to our program in Business Analytics. Applicants should have a Ph.D. with experience in teaching quantitative methods, operations research, decision sciences or business analytics.
The McCombs School, with its top-ranked faculty and educational programs, offers a stimulating and collegial environment for research and teaching. The Information, Risk, and Operations Management (IROM) Department offers courses and concentrations in the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programs. The School’s Center for Analytics and Transformative Technologies, Supply Chain Management Center of Excellence, Center for Research in Electronic Commerce, The Kay Bailey Hutchison Center for Energy, Law and Business, Healthcare initiative and other research centers and initiatives provide opportunities for IROM faculty to collaborate with colleagues in other disciplines and to interact with industry.
