The Sam M. Walton College of Business invites applications for a non-tenure track Teaching Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics. The position has a four-course teaching requirement each semester (12 credit hours per semester), with a potential mix of face-to-face and online courses, as needed. Teaching responsibilities for this position will involve a mix of Economics and Data Analysis and Interpretation courses at the undergraduate level. The expected start date for the position is Fall 2021 but a Summer 2021 start date can be considered for interested candidates. This position is a 9-month contract with opportunity to teach courses during the summer for additional salary. The appointment is renewable and salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Candidates must have a doctorate in economics with a record of excellent teaching experience in economics prior to start of employment. Excellent and Innovative teaching is a key requirement for this position, and the candidate should furnish evidence about such activities in their CV or cover letter.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience and/or an interest in both face-to-face and online course delivery. Commitment to continued scholarly or professional engagement activity is expected.
