The School of Economics at the University of Nottingham carries out world-leading research and teaching with an international reputation for excellence across all areas of economics. The School of Economics invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following posts, available from 1 September 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter.

• Assistant Professor (1 post)

Candidates with research and teaching interests in any area of economics are encouraged to apply.

Candidates are expected to have a PhD in Economics by the time they take up the post, and to have relevant teaching experience.

Salaries for all posts will be commensurate with those offered by comparable Schools and in line with the University of Nottingham reward package.

The School will be represented at the European Job Market to be held between December 14-18, and at the ASSA 2021 Job Market on January 3-5. During the events, School representatives will meet candidates remotely by video-link. Video Interviews may also be conducted at other times if convenient to the candidate and School representatives.
