The Department of Finance at the University of Illinois invites applicants for regular, full-time appointments at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor tenure-track ranks in applied economics, data science and finance for the 2021-2022 academic year. Candidates must possess a PhD and have published at least one paper in a leading finance or economics journal. Applicants for senior positions are expected to provide leadership in the department, the university and in the Finance discipline. They should also have a strong research record and the ability to participate in doctoral education and curriculum development at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with the appointment level and applicant’s record.
