Subject to final approval by the Office of The Provost, The Department of Economics at the Villanova School of Business seeks to fill a tenure track position in Economics beginning Fall 2021 at the rank of Assistant Professor, with the rank of Associate Professor considered for candidates with outstanding qualifications and experience.

We are seeking a microeconomist who conducts empirical research in International Economics with a focus on either trade, development, or environmental economics.

The Villanova School of Business is committed to both scholarly research and teaching excellence. In addition to maintaining an active research agenda leading to high quality publications, the appointment involves teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels with a teaching load of two courses per semester.

Candidates are expected to have completed their Ph.D. degree before the appointment starts. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to high quality research and possess excellent teaching skills.
