The Department of Economics seeks outstanding candidates to join our team of active scholars at Mizzou, the flagship of the University of Missouri system. We are located in Columbia, a vibrant and affordable college-town just 30 minutes from the state capital. Our faculty have national reputations for policy-relevant research and include two recent members of the CEA. Department enrollments and majors are rapidly growing, so we anticipate multiple tenure-track hires in the future.

The Preparing Future Faculty – Faculty Diversity (PFFFD) Postdoctoral Program is designed to develop scholars for tenure-track faculty positions at the University of Missouri and elsewhere. Applicants should demonstrate how they can contribute to faculty diversity, such as through membership in a group that is historically underrepresented in a particular discipline or through other experience.

Postdoctoral positions are for two years; salary is competitive (the department will supplement the University paid stipend for this position). Applicants must have completed their doctoral degree, or expect to complete their degree no later than July 1, 2021.
