The Marketing Technology Group in JD.com Silicon Valley Labs is looking for a seasoned research scientist with a strong background in pricing and promotion analytics. As part of the Business Growth Business Unit, the team works on exploring the frontiers of marketing technologies to build and enhance the comprehensive marketing products for sellers and advertisers partnering with JD.com. We are looking for a strong candidate with rich experience in pricing related research to help us better understand our customers' needs and to help design and implement products that can enhance the growth of JD.com both as a retailer and as an e-commerce marketplace.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Economics, Marketing, or other quantitative fields.
Experience with scripting or programming languages with the ability to build prototypes.
Experience with data analytics and big data platforms.
Experience in pricing, revenue management, or consumer behavior analysis with knowledge of causal inference, experimentation, and statistical methods.
Related work experience preferred.
