Overview:
The Department of Economics and Finance in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business invites applications for a nine-month, non-tenure-track Professional Practice Assistant Professor. The primary focus of the position is teaching and student mentoring, with a secondary focus on research.

Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have expertise in econometrics, machine learning, computer programming, and related topics in economics and finance. He/she will also have industry experience and will have the interest and ability to utilize their industry experience and CFA credential to mentor and prepare students for careers in industry. In addition, candidates will be affiliated with the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University. Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include a PhD in economics/finance or related field and CFA credential. Candidates must have excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, and must support the Huntsman School's focus on student success. Excellent teaching, student mentoring, and high-impact research are required.
