The Department of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts (HSA) at Harvey Mudd College — a highly selective member of the Claremont Colleges, offering majors in the sciences, engineering, and mathematics — seeks applications a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Development Economics, and a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor of Environmental Economics. These nine-month full-time positions run from August 15, 2020 to May 15, 2021.

The primary qualification is a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates and demonstrated excellence and innovation in the classroom. The ideal candidates will have already designed and taught at least two separate courses as the faculty instructor of record. A Ph.D. in economics must be completed by June 1, 2020.
