Cleveland State University invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting position at the instructor/assistant professor level in economics beginning August 17, 2020. The successful candidate will teach applied econometrics courses in our MA program as well as undergraduate microeconomics or macroeconomics theory courses and other courses consistent with the candidate’s areas of specialization.
Completion of all requirements for the Ph.D. by July 1, 2020 is required for appointment as Assistant Professor; ABDs will be considered for appointment as an instructor.
Candidates must have a field of specialization in labor economics. Preference will be given to applicants with the ability to teach applied microeconometrics and who have a record or show promise of quality teaching and research and who can help fill the department’s teaching needs.
Application requirements consist of a letter of application, current C.V., graduate transcripts, evidence of teaching effectiveness, samples of research, three letters of recommendation, and a brief statement on diversity.
