The Research Department seeks an Economics Writer who proposes and writes articles for the Richmond Fed’s economics magazine, Econ Focus; a monthly essay series, Economic Briefs; and other publications. We’re looking for someone with excellent writing skills, a firm grasp of economic principles and current public policy issues, and the ability to understand and interpret economic research to join a highly collaborative team of writers and editors. A successful writer will be able to translate complex ideas in a compelling and accessible manner for a nontechnical audience. Salary and benefits are competitive.
