Full Text of JOE Listing:
FutureProof is seeking new or experienced Ph.D. economists as
part-time consultants or full-time employees. We are seeking an
economist with exceptional empirical skills and interest in the
rigorous application of economics and statistics in a fast-paced
startup. The position will work in close collaboration with our Chief
Economist, our CEO, and other team members.
FutureProof is developing projections of the impacts of climate change
on asset value, coupling cutting-edge climate data with analytics on
the economic and financial implications of climate risks. Our team
consists of leading economists, climate scientists, and finance
experts from Stanford and UC San Diego. Our clients are institutional
asset managers.
For part-time consulting work, the position could start as early as in
January 2020. For a full-time job, the position would start in summer
2020.
We have bases in the Bay Area as well as San Diego, but are we very
open to remote work arrangements. FutureProof is an equal opportunity
