The Department of Economics at the University of South Florida invites applications for an associate professor position public finance or other related field in applied microeconomics. This is a full-time (9 month) position. Salary is negotiable.

Minimum Qualifications:
A PhD in Economics or a related field from an accredited institution An established, active scholarly research record, strong teaching ability, and the ability and desire to play an important role in our PhD program. Must meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not a requirement, preference will be given to applicants who have published in the Public Finance field.

Due to late approval of the position, the department will begin screening applications on December 19th. Representatives from the department will be available to meet with candidates attending the ASSA meetings in January 2020. Different arrangements will be made with those candidates not attending the meetings.
