Description:

The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University seeks to hire two tenure track faculty. One hire will be a tenure-track Assistant Professor and one hire will be either at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor . The field of specialization is open. The candidate(s) hired will be expected to establish and maintain an active research program and support a commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Salary and teaching/service expectations are competitive.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have completed a PhD in Economics before employment, anticipated to start in August 2020, and have a research, teaching and service record commensurate with rank. Appointment is contingent on the university’s verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
