The Stone Center is hiring two Postdoctoral Scholars to perform research related to socio-economic inequality in the United States, other countries, or both. Postdocs are expected to produce empirical research, thereby contributing to the growing national and international conversation on economic inequality and on feasible strategies, both public and private, aimed at furthering fair and efficient policy and institutional reforms.

Applicants Should Have:
• Ph.D. degree in economics, statistics, sociology, or related discipline.
• Degree in hand or thesis defense scheduled to take place prior to position start date.
• Existing research portfolio demonstrating experience with empirical, methodological, and/or theoretical scholarship on socio-economic inequality.
• High level of technical expertise in a range of quantitative methods.
• Experience with complex data sets.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Priority will be given to those researching the distribution of earnings, income, wealth, and/or consumption; intergroup disparities; politics of inequality; social mobility; history of inequality.
