The Department of Economics & Finance at the Jack Welch College of Business & Technology at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT invites applications for one tenure-track assistant professor position in Business Analytics starting from fall 2020. Candidates are expected to teach courses in our newly launched graduate program MS in Business Analytics and undergraduate analytics courses.The successful candidate will be working with faculty across the business disciplines to cooperatively develop curriculum, and co-curricular activities, to support a growing interest in business/data analytics. Strong applicants should be versatile, with an ability to teach a variety of courses in the analytics field. A solid background in statistics and a programing language, such as Python is required.
Qualifications: Terminal degree in computer science, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, or a related field. ABD's will be considered, but must finish the Ph.D. by August 15, 2020.
