The University of South Alabama, Mitchell College of Business (MCOB) invites applications for a tenure-track position in economics beginning August 15, 2020. The department is seeking an assistant professor who is academically qualified to teach microeconomics and labor economics, and capable of making significant contributions in these fields. A publication record is preferred. A commitment to excellent teaching is required in microeconomics, macroeconomics, labor economics, public finance, and health economics. Candidates should have earned a doctorate degree in economics but ABDs will be considered. MCOB's undergraduate and graduate programs are AACSB accredited.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, curriculum vita, job market paper, teaching and research statements, three letters of recommendation and teaching evaluations.
