The Economist is responsible for assisting in the data collection and maintenance of data driven models. The Economist plays a role in the production of research and analysis to quantify the impact of economic, legal and industry factors that affect portfolio performance and asset values. This position is responsible for being the subject matter expert on the used vehicle market. This position is also responsible for summarizing, reporting and providing polished presentations on findings to a variety of internal clients as well as interacting with other departments in the interest of achieving the overall company objectives.
