The Department of Environmental and Resource Economics at Renmin University of China invites applications for multiple tenure-tracked positions at all levels. Successful candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in Economics, Environmental and Resource Economics or a closely related field no later than August, 2020. We are looking for candidates with in the field of Individual Decision-making in Response to Environmental Changes, Optimal Design of Environmental Policies, Non-market Valuation, Spatial Modeling and Urban Planning, and Dynamics between Poverty Alleviation and Environmental Conservation. Teaching is not required in the first year and 8 credit hours afterwards.

Candidates with demonstrated research and teaching capacities or high potentials are especially encouraged to apply.

Our department is the earliest established and has been the leading program in its field under the Double-first Class Subject of Theoretical Economics. We are expanding and building multi-disciplinary talents to conduct academic research and provide policy insights.
