Assistant Professor of Economics

The Scott L. Carmona College of Business (CCB) at Saginaw Valley State University, an AACSB accredited institution, invites applications for a tenure track, full-time appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor of Economics to start Fall 2020. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in any field within economics and the ability to teach and conduct research in Macroeconomics, International Economics, Development Economics, Applied Statistics, or Data Analytics would be a plus. Candidates to be considered must have the ability and experience to teach a variety of economics courses at the bachelor's level including Introduction to Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics or Microeconomics, and Statistics. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in scholarly activities commensurate to the requirements of the College's criteria for classification as a scholarly academic (SA).
