Post Specification
The School of Economics and Finance at Shanghai International Studies University invites applications for faculty positions in all fields of Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics and Computer Science at the Professor/ Associate Professor/Assistant Professor Levels.
Candidates for the Associate and Full Professor posts are expected to have a PhD degree and have demonstrated an outstanding record in research and teaching with publications in high-quality peer reviewed journals. Candidates for the Assistant Professor Post should have a PhD degree (by the time of reporting duty) and should show high potential in teaching and research.

Appointment Terms
Appointments will normally be made on contract basis for up to three years initially, leading to longer-term appointment or tenure later subject to mutual agreement.

Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments. Statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable to the PRC. The appointee will be based in Shanghai, China.
