Johns Hopkins Carey Business School invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position to start Fall 2020. We welcome applications from candidates motivated by the unique opportunity to participate in building a world-class business school at a premier private university.

Successful candidates are expected to perform cutting-edge research and teach business economics courses, with opportunities to teach in other areas relevant to the School’s mission. Preference will be given to candidates with strengths in applied microeconomics or behavioral economics relevant to business or policy, and empirical research using a mix of experimental and non-experimental designs.

Qualified candidates must have the following:
-A PhD degree in economics or a related field conferred by employment start date
-Demonstrated a strong commitment to academic research and excellence in teaching

Teaching responsibilities will include MBA/MS-level courses. Evidence of successful teaching in a graduate business school environment is desirable but not required.
