Full Text of JOE Listing:

We are appointing faculty to teach undergraduate courses in economics beginning in the 2020-2021 academic year. We welcome applications from people at all career stages (e.g., Assistant, Associate and full Professor levels).

The Minerva Schools prepare students to become innovators and global leaders in a wide variety of disciplines. Our aim is to reinvent higher education at every level, from how we define the curriculum to how we teach. All Minerva classes are seminars, not lecture courses, and use active learning (facilitated by technology) to help students learn to think critically and creatively as well as to communicate and interact effectively with others. We teach using the Minerva Forum, a web-based platform that supports real-time, synchronous seminars with high levels of student-faculty interaction. Students live together in residence halls, traveling to 7 different cities over their four undergraduate years of study.

Because all classes are taught on our technology platform, you have complete flexibility to teach at Minerva via computer from any geographic location where there are good internet connections.
