The Department of Economics at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, seeks to hire a macroeconomist who can teach at the undergraduate, masters and PhD levels, and is an active researcher with the potential to excel in publication and build a strong scholarly reputation in economics.
Responsibilities of an Assistant Professor (tenure-track, academic-year commitment) include:
• developing an independent research program
• teaching 2 courses per semester (4 per year); mentoring graduate students
• participating in service at the department, university, and discipline levels
