Associate Professor or Assistant Professor Tenure Track Appointment in Public Economics

The School of Public Policy and Urban Studies Program invite applications for a full-time tenure track joint position at the rank of Associate Professor or Assistant Professor with an expected start date of July 1, 2020. The position will be 75% Public Policy/25% Urban Studies with an administrative home in Public Policy. Preference will be given to candidates in the area of public economics, including economic foundations of policy analysis, and for example, social economic policy, urban economics, cost-benefit analysis, or public management in a Canadian context. The successful candidate will hold a continuing faculty position at the rank of Associate Professor or have a minimum five years in a continuing faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. They must hold a PhD in economics or a closely related field and be well qualified to teach at the graduate level in both units.
