The Department of Economics invites applications for two full-time tenure-track positions in Applied Microeconomics at the Assistant Professor level, effective July 1, 2020, subject to budgetary approval. The first position with specialization in Immigration Economics, Health Economics, Industrial Organization, International Trade or Political Economy and the second position with specialization in Public Economics, Labor Economics, Environmental Economics, Urban Economics or Behavioral Economics.
Successful candidates will have a PhD in Economics or related field (or be very close to completion). They must demonstrate the ability to contribute to our undergraduate, masters and PhD programs through high-quality teaching, excellence in research, and collegial service; the ability to maintain an independent, externally-funded research program capable of yielding publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals; and a commitment to our values of equity, diversity and inclusion.
