The Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health seeks to hire a Research Scientist to contribute to a growing and vibrant research program on comparative health systems under the direction of Professor Winnie Yip, faculty director of the Harvard China Health Partnership and the India Health Systems Project.

The successful candidate will develop and execute a research agenda, together with Professor Winnie Yip, on questions relating to differential behavioral responses of public/private providers to health policy interventions; the relative roles of the public/private providers in different health care sectors; and market interactions between the public and private sectors and health policy/system levers in improving the efficiency and quality of health care delivery in both the public and private sectors.

Qualifications include doctoral degree in health policy, public policy, economics or health systems research, with strong disciplinary training in social science, especially in the fields of health economics, industrial organization or organizational behavior; and at least four years of postdoctoral or equivalent research experience in the areas of health policy, health economics, public policy, or health systems.
