The Graduate School of Defense Management (formerly, the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) seeks applicants for one or more assistant or associate professor of Economics or Public Policy positions to begin in the fall of 2020. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for research and teaching graduate courses in our MBA and the MS programs.

NPS is the nation’s premier defense related graduate university and highly values both research and instruction. Located in scenic Monterey/Carmel, California, the school offers unique opportunities for access to both data and summer research funding. The GSBPP has over 70 faculty and approximately 300 full-time graduate students, most of whom are military officers.

Consideration of applications will begin immediately and we will be interviewing in conjunction with the 2020 AEA meetings.

Minimum qualifications:
• A doctoral degree in Economics, Public Policy, or related disciplines.
• Ability to teach micro-economics and/or public policy courses, as well as econometrics courses.
• Demonstrated ability to perform academic research in economics or related disciplines.
