The School of Public Finance and Taxation at the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Chengdu, China invites applications for a number of tenure-track and tenured positions in the field of public economics, financial supervision, public administration, artificial intelligence on public finance and taxation issues. Candidates should have a PhD or anticipate PhD completion by August 2020 in a relevant field. We would welcome applicants across different research specializations. It is important that applicants demonstrate the capacity to establish a research agenda that will lead to scholarly publications. Academic rank will depend on publications and teaching experience. A normal teaching load is three courses per year. In addition to producing quality scholarship and effective teaching, responsibilities will include participation in department, school and university service and related professional activities. SWUFE offers competitive salary and benefit packages and outstanding research support.
