Assistant Professor, Business Analystics, Questrom School of Business

The Boston University Questrom School of Business anticipates an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor trained in Machine Learning and Data Science with a Business Analytics focus. Pending Provost budgetary approval, the anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 2020.

We seek candidates who would be comfortable in, stimulated by, and engage with the cross-disciplinary community of data science. Prospective candidates must have demonstrated ability to produce scholarly work at top peer-reviewed outlets. Candidates with relevant research and publication experience in industry are also encouraged to apply. Faculty will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in analytics and contribute to cross-disciplinary curriculum development activities.

Required skills:
A PhD in core business-oriented disciplines whose research leverages their expertise in the methods of Machine Learning and Data Science; or a PhD in Management with focus on Data Science, Computer Science or Statistics whose research focuses on problems of significant interest to business or social science research community.
