The Lewin Group seeks PhD economists to conduct rigorous empirical research on the most current policy issues surrounding health care reform. Applicants are sought at all experience levels.

We are a national health and human services consulting firm with over 350 professional staff and offices in the DC metro and Minnesota. We work with the Federal government, States, Foundations and private clients to design, implement and evaluate programs that improve the organization, payment and delivery of health care services.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team and will have the opportunity to conduct policy analyses and evaluate programs using sound economic reasoning and advanced empirical methods. Success requires ingenuity and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Requirements:
• PhD in Economics, Public Policy, Health Services Research or related field by Fall 2020
• Demonstrated quantitative research skills in applied microeconomics, labor economics, applied econometrics, health policy, program evaluation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity
• 2+ years of experience analyzing health care data; knowledge of US healthcare system and institutions
• Applicants for Senior positions need demonstrate technical and project leadership
