The Research School of Economics (RSE) at the Australian National University (ANU) is a leading economic research and teaching institution at one of Australia’s premier universities. The RSE is seeking to appoint up to five world leading early career researchers. The positions are located within the John Mitchell Economics of Poverty Lab within the RSE.
The John Mitchell Economics of Poverty Lab, established by ANU College of Business & Economics alumnus John Mitchell, aims to have world-wide impact by increasing our understanding of poverty and generating policies to alleviate it. The Post-doctoral Fellows will work on a number of research projects as part of the lab, reporting to Research Lead and working alongside a team of academic research staff, research assistants and in collaboration with Distinguished Professor John List and his team at the University of Chicago.
Applications are invited for the positions of Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Fellow from highly qualified candidates with a PhD in economics, demonstrated expertise in behavioural Economics and experience with field experiments. Expressions of interest should be accompanied by at least three letters of recommendation.
The advertised position is a full time, three-year fixed term research focused position offering a reduced and negotiable teaching load. The Research School of Economics has a number of positions available. Interviews will be conducted at the AEA/ASSA Meeting in San Diego on 3-5 January 2020.
Term: Full Time Fixed Term (Three Years)
Salary Range: $73,309 - $113,165 AUD plus 17% superannuation
