The Department of Economics and Finance at the O’Malley School of Business, Manhattan College invites qualified candidates for a tenure track positionc at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting Fall 2020. The department seeks a microeconomist with teaching and research interests in the area of experimental/behavioral economics. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics or related field – must be completed before August 2020 -- and must demonstrate both the capacity for high-quality instruction and the potential for significant research. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in scholarly activities, and participating in campus activities. Ability to teach in online and hybrid methods are welcomed.

Manhattan College is nationally ranked and offers degree programs in the arts, business, education, engineering, and science. The College has approximately 4,000 full and part-time undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in over 50 fields of study and is committed to excellence in teaching a diverse student body and preparing students for successful careers and fulfilling lives. The O’Malley School of Business offers AACSB-accredited undergraduate and graduate programs to approximately 950 business students.
