The Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economics at the Assistant Professor rank in the Department of Economics and Finance starting in Fall 2020. Outstanding Associate and Full Professor applications will be considered. A Ph.D. in Economics is required for tenure track position. While all specialization areas in Economics will be considered, Microeconomic and Labor are especially desirable. Department offers BS/BA in economics in both the Tobin College of Business and St. John’s College of Arts and Sciences. Ability to contribute to both programs is important. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate classes as well as participation on committees, and service to the University. Excellence in teaching and an ongoing research/publication record are essential.
