The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Economics invites applicants for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2020.

The positions require a Ph.D. degree in Economics (or related area); exceptional ABD candidates will be considered as well if completion of all requirements for the Ph.D. degree will be completed prior to beginning employment. Position 1: Strong preference for specialization in Econometrics. Position 2: Strong preference for specialization in Healthcare policy or related applied Microeconomics areas.

Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for publishing in top-tier Economics journals and have an ability to teach at all levels. Teaching load for Assistant Professors is 2-1. For additional information about the positions, visit
