Minimum Education Requirements:
The applicant must have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Economics or related discipline to the teaching assignment. If the degree is obtained from a College of Business, the College must be AACSB accredited. If the doctoral degree is in a related discipline, it must be combined with a high level of substantive academic and/or professional engagement activities within discipline to support currency and relevance in the field of teaching. ABDs will be considered, but must provide strong evidence that all doctoral degree requirements will be completed within one year of the start date. Applicants with interest and/or teaching experience in the following undergraduate areas are strongly encouraged to apply: principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and money and banking. Additionally, applicants with an interest in teaching graduate-level business economics in an MBA program are encouraged to apply. The appointment begins in the fall 2020 semester and carries a 3-3 teaching load.
