Brookings is seeking a Fellow or Senior Fellow to join the Hutchins Center on Fiscal and Monetary Policy in Economic Studies, to conduct in-depth, high-quality policy-relevant economic research. We are particularly interested in specialists in labor or international macroeconomics. The fellow will conduct original policy-relevant research in field(s) of expertise, independently and in collaboration with other scholars inside and outside Brookings and will commission research from outside scholars. They will plan and execute public and/or private events to share and discuss this research and other pressing issues of fiscal and monetary policy.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Ph.D. or equivalent in economics or related field preferred. At least six years of relevant experience required. Substantial body of policy-relevant research required. The successful candidate will be a productive scholar with potential to be a recognized leader in their field(s). Interest in or experience with mentoring junior staff strongly preferred. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
