Position responsibilities include teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels in economics at a highly effective level, maintaining a quality research pipeline and publishing in quality academic journals, and performing meaningful service for the department and profession. Primary consideration will be given to applicants with research/teaching interests in applied/empirical macroeconomics or health economics, but strong applicants in other fields may be considered. An ideal candidate will have synergies with one or more of our research centers: Bagwell Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity, Education Economics Center, and Econometric Center.

An earned Doctorate (or expectation of earning a doctorate prior to Fall 2020; degree must be conferred by start date) in Economics, or related discipline or the foreign equivalent.
