The School of Human Resources & Labor Relations and the Department of Economics are jointly conducting a search for an Assistant Professor in Labor Economics with an expected start date of August 16, 2020. We are seeking candidates whose primary interest/expertise focuses on examining the effects of emerging technologies on workers, the workplace, the labor market, and the overall economy. The successful candidate will join a newly formed interdisciplinary consortium of 20 faculty across the social sciences, engineering, computer science, and management.

We seek applicants committed to teaching and research of the highest quality. Prior to the start date, applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in economics or a related discipline with a strong economics background.
