The Culverhouse College of Commerce at the University of Alabama is seeking candidates for Associate/ Full Professor positions in Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies. Primary duties include teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in articles in outstanding scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University. The position will start August 16, 2020.

Experienced candidates with a record of publishing in high-quality journals and demonstrated teaching effectiveness are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to candidates whose research focuses on environmental and natural resources economics, particularly in the areas of water, energy or climate and with a record of externally-funded research.

Salary is highly competitive and commensurate with experience and record.
