The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Environmental Policy, with a preference for candidates with a health and international focus. The position will entail teaching five undergraduate courses in each academic year. Courses to be covered include introductory classes (micro and macro, as well as a survey class for non-majors) and an upper division Environmental Economics course among other upper division courses based on the candidate’s areas of interest and the needs of the department. Health Economics is a secondary field preference. The position will be eligible for the John C. Beyer Endowed Chair title upon reaching the rank of Associate Professor, which will reflect excellence in teaching and scholarship.

Pacific is distinguished by its low student-faculty ratio and its mission to provide a superior student-centered learning environment. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. by August, 2020.
