Centre College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of Economics, to begin August 2020. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment or have a scheduled dissertation defense date and be qualified to teach core introductory and intermediate level courses (Introduction to Economics and Intermediate Macroeconomics), in addition to upper level courses in macroeconomics. Candidates with the ability to support our offerings in finance are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates should be committed to excellent teaching, appreciative of the unique attributes of a liberal-arts college, and provide evidence of scholarly productivity.

Currently celebrating its 200th anniversary, Centre College is a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts and sciences college of about 1,400 students with an exceptional faculty of teacher-scholars.
