Job Overview
This position will lead the application of economic, real estate and demographic data and analysis to planning studies.

Qualifications
A Master's Degree in urban planning, economics, public or business administration, mathematics, demographics, statistics, or a related field; and
Four or more years of experience in quantitative research/evaluation and statistical methodologies to include at least three years of experience as a manager or project leader.
Or
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-specific competencies noted below

Duties
Researches, compiles and applies statistics, demographics, real estate market data, fiscal and economic analysis to planning and community development projects, proposals and studies.
Manages political redistricting studies, building permit tracking and annual population estimates.
Presents research/studies to the Planning Commission or other relevant groups.
Provides technical oversight, direction, and quality assurance on multiple complex simultaneous projects.
Represents the organization at meetings with elected and appointed officials and interdepartmental and intergovernmental meetings.
Manages and supervises the work of professional staff, by scheduling, assigning and reviewing work, providing training and counseling and evaluating performance.
Manages consultant studies.
Performs other related duties as required.
