The Economics Department invites application for a tenure-track Assistant Professor starting 8/2020. Duties include undergraduate and graduate teaching, research, and service. Our search is focused in the area of applied microeconomics. Candidates with specialties in urban/regional, health, labor, and industrial organization are especially encouraged to apply, although all applicants in other applied fields will be given full consideration. The hiring process will stress the potential of candidates to produce internationally recognized research in applied microeconomics and to interact positively with existing and future members of the economics department.

The candidates should either have the Ph.D. in hand or all requirements for the Ph.D. must be satisfied by August 7, 2020. The Department may hire at the beginning or senior Assistant Professor level. Under exceptional circumstances, a second hire is possible. The deadline for applications is 12/1/19.
