The Department of Economics, Uppsala University invites applications for one tenure-track assistant professor position beginning no later than September 2020. We will consider candidates in all fields of economics.
The Department is a highly committed research department with full scale graduate and undergraduate programs within Scandinavia’s oldest university, conveniently located only 20 minutes from Stockholm Arlanda International airport. The Department hosts several strong research groups in, e.g., labor economics, public economics and macroeconomics. The Department has a strong international reputation and has recruited on the international job market since 2008.
Applicants should have a PhD in Economics or have an expected PhD completion date no later than September 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at the European Job Market for Economists in Rotterdam, December 18-19, 2019. Other arrangements may be possible for short-listed candidates who do not plan to attend the meeting.
