The School of Government and Public Transformation at the Tecnologico de Monterrey has several openings. Ranks are open and we invite applications from candidates in the field of Economics, with a specialization and strong research background in Behavioral Economics; Digital Economics and Machine Learning; Macroeconomics, and General Economics. The search is also open with respect to specialty and approach; however, we are interested in candidates with the potential to conduct theoretically informed, empirical, and policy-relevant research for publication in top academic journals and other peer-reviewed venues. The Tecnológico de Monterrey offers a dynamic academic environment with excellent research support.

Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have a strong academic background and demonstrated ability in conducting theoretical as well as applied empirical research in one or more of the aforementioned areas. The Tecnológico de Monterrey also prizes an excellent background in teaching. Professors are expected to teach and mentor undergraduates as well as graduate students. This is an open-rank search, whereby status as tenured, tenure-track, Assistant, Associate or Full Professor will be awarded on the basis of the candidates publishing record, teaching experience, and academic status. Junior candidates should complete their degree no later than June 2020.

Compensation is competitive and includes incentives and support for research activities.

● A statement of teaching philosophy (no more than two pages) that includes potential course offerings. Finalists may be asked to provide evidence of teaching performance.
● Curriculum Vitae accompanied by a cover letter, explaining why they would like to work in Mexico.
● Three letters of recommendation written within the last year. In the case of early career scholars (2015-2019), at least one of these letters should come from the PhD advisor.
