The Department of Finance within the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position(s) in Finance at the Assistant or Associate Professor level(s) starting August 19, 2020. Rank will be based on experience and record of achievement. All specialty areas in finance will be considered; however, individuals with expertise in corporate finance and/or risk management and insurance are especially encouraged to apply. For best consideration, applications should be submitted by December 8, 2019. Position is 100% time with benefits.

An earned doctorate degree or strong evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed by 8/19/2020.

Required Qualifications
For consideration at the Assistant Professor level, applicants must have a demonstrated interest in and capacity to do research publishable in top-tier journals; a high level of teaching competence; and demonstrated commitment to work towards a welcoming and inclusive environment both in and out of the classroom.

For consideration at the Associate Professor level, applicants must have an extensive and continuing body of research published in top-tier journals; demonstrated success in working with doctoral students; demonstrated record of teaching experience and commitment to work towards a welcoming and inclusive environment both in and out of the classroom.
