Assistant / Associate Professor of Economics
The Department of Management and Business Administration at Southeastern Louisiana University is accepting applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to begin August, 2020. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in economics, maintain an active scholarly program sufficient to sustain AACSB qualifications, and perform departmental, college, and university service. The department offers undergraduate majors in Management and in Business Administration. Business Administration majors may opt to pursue a concentration in Economics.
Must have completed an earned doctorate in Economics or related field from an AACSB-accredited program by start date. All areas of Economics will be considered.
The Department of Management and Business Administration is one of three departments in Southeastern's AACSB-accredited College of Business, which also holds separate AACSB Accounting accreditation. With approximately 2,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and approximately 50 faculty, the college offers six undergraduate majors and an MBA degree.
